Thankfully Niko Price couldn’t see himself in the mirror.

Price left his welterweight rematch with Vicente Luque at UFC 249 in Jacksonville, Fla., on Saturday night with his right eye swollen shut after taking a beating in the second and third rounds, including a hard left hook that left him looking like Sloth from the Goonies.

The ring official stopped the fight at 3:37 of the third round, awarding a victory by TKO to Luque, moving him to 18-7-1, when the cageside physician determined Price could not see out of his eye. Price was transported to a local hospital following the fight, according to TSN.

Price and Luque opened the undercard at an empty Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena, as UFC became the first professional sports to return amid the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S.

Luque defeated Price by submission in their first fight in 2017 at UFC Fight Night 119.
