Revenue losses and emergency spending are forcing the city to make cuts to its 2020 budget.
A number of them take aim at education initiatives.
They include a reduction in funding for Equity and Excellence programs such as Summer in the City, Single Shepherd, and College Access for All.
Fair Student Funding will also see its budget slashed.
The de Blasio administration says it must suspend some non-essential operations, while also maintaining their commitment to Pre-K for All, health care, access to food, workplace protections, and public safety.
