A Manhattan man’s would-be tryst turned sour when a beau he met on Grindr came to his apartment and assaulted him early Sunday morning, cops said.
A 30-year-old man organized the late night rendezvous with a man he met a few weeks ago on the dating app, cops said.
The gentleman caller arrived at the 30-year-old’s Hell’s Kitchen apartment at about 1:30 a.m. — and a short time later, he opened the door and let in an accomplice, who was armed with a pistol topped with a laser scope, cops said.
The two guests tied up their host and two other people who were in the apartment, put bags over their heads, then one of the robbers punched him in the face and threatened to kill him, cops said.
The two thieves ransacked the apartment and cleaned out the safe. They got away with a few pieces of Louis Vuitton luggage, a MacBook, the victim’s cell phones, and $12,500 in cash, cops said.
